After discovering his talent and interest in art at a young age, Mexican artist Diego Rivera lived in Paris for ten years, making a name for himself as a Cubist. When he returned to Mexico, however, he became a great muralist, putting his love of his country into his paintings. Although not considered particularly attractive, Rivera was very alluring to women, and he had many lovers during his life. In 1929, he married the Mexican painter Frida Kahlo, which was the beginning of a turbulent relationship that has been the subject of much interest.
