Text Entries
On this watch, two putti jacquemarts holding hammers sit beneath an Ionic colonnade decorated with bells and swags. An annular white Arabic chapter ring encloses the blue steeled plate and gilt mask that forms the colonnade. A bow and quiver lie on the ground beneath the scene. In the aperture above, a bell ringer jacquemart in the form of a jester appears when the pendant is pressed; he strikes a bell, after which the two putti strike bells in succession. The case is engine turned. Breguet and fils was the company that sold the watch.
