Watches featuring three jacquemarts are much rarer than those with two figures. This watch offers a medieval scene of a joust with three knights on horseback. When activated, the two combatants in the top aperture joust and the bugler below raises a horn to his lips. The knights are executed in rose and green gold. The entire scene is placed over a blue-steeled plate background. A silver annular Arabic chapter ring surrounds the scene. The reverse side, as in most automatons, is decorated with engine turning.
